Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: Book Summary

He’s Back, He’s Back! Voldemort Is Back...

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire follows Harry returning for his fourth year at Hogwarts along with his best friends and the mystery surrounding the entry of Harry’s name into the Triwizard Tournament. Three champions’ names come out of the magical object called “Goblet of Fire,” Cedric Diggory from Hogwarts, Viktor Krum from Durmstrang and Fleur Delacour from Beauxbatons, and then the goblet unexpectedly produces a fourth, Harry Potter, in spite of the fact that participants have to be over the age of seventeen.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire begins with Harry’s dream of Voldemort killing someone in a house. Now the four champions who are selected by the goblet have to compete in three terrifying tasks in order to win the Tri-Wizard Cup. Finally, after grabbing the Triwizard Cup, with Cedric’s body, Harry is transported back to the school. Harry realized that the Moody he had known for so long was not the real Moody, and he was Death Eater Bertie Crouch Jr. in Moody’s form.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire depicts how well Rowling’s vision of the magical world outside Hogwarts unfolds in this book beyond what has been seen in the first three novels.
